It is a joint venture between Dongfeng Motor Parts & Components (Group) Co., Ltd. and Cummins (China) Investment Co., Ltd. with an investment capital of 1.826 USD. It has near 700 employees within professionals and direct labor included.

Shanghai Fleetguard is a technology driven company that achieved ISO-9001 quality certification in Mar 1997, QS-9000 quality certification in Mar 1998, TS16949 (2002) quality certification in Oct 2003, TS16949 (2009) quality certification in Jan 2010, ISO14001 environment certification in Dec 2004 and OHSAS18001 environment certification in Jun 2009.
